Rare 1866 Oregon Stage Company to Wells Fargo Express Payment Voucher Marysville:
$149.99
This listing is of an antique Gold Rush era voucher between the Oregon Stage Company and Wells Fargo & Co's Express to freight $2,000 in coin from Marysville, Oregon to Red Bluff, California. I suspect Marysville refers to the Marysville Placer mine. The check was found at an affluent estate in Southeast Michigan. It had been framed and glued to the backside of an antique print. The check was carefully removed from the print.
The voucher is in good condition overall with some light fold lines. The voucher had been glued onto a thicker paper. The remnants of that gluing are on the backside of the voucher in both upper corners. A number of photos have been included. Please see photos to judge condition. Feel free to ask questions.
