Rare! 1925 Königsberg East Prussia Handwritten Ephemera 4-Page Paper Manuscript
1925 Königsberg East Prussia Handwritten Ephemera 4-Page Paper Manuscript
Up for sale is a genuine piece of early 20th-century German manuscript history and regional Weimar Republic ephemera. This item consists of a unique 4-page self-cover layout, spanning a single folded sheet of medium-weight writing paper. The document originates from Königsberg, East Prussia, and features a prominent municipal date header at the top reading: "Königsberg i. Pr. d. 25. 1. 25" (January 25, 1925). The entire document is extensively handwritten in traditional Old German cursive script (Kurrent / Sütterlin formatting). It features the distinct signature and local address block of regional town official (Bürgermeister) W. Grosse, localized to Samlandweg 11.
Physical Specifications:
- Dimensions: Approximately 6 inches by 7 ¾ inches (6" x 7.75")
- Format: 4-page self-cover folded booklet layout
- Medium: Dark ink on vintage medium-weight cream paper stock
Condition Report:
The vintage paper remains structurally solid with excellent texture and completely legible, dark hand-inked penmanship. Given its age of over a century, the item displays expected localized toning and natural fold lines. There is a very small, minor tear localized strictly along the edge of one of the structural fold lines, which does not impact any text integrity. Please review the high-resolution photos to evaluate the paper margins and overall physical condition.
Shipping details:
The manuscript will be housed in clear protective sleeve and shipped completely flat with tracking.
