Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic piece of Japanese photographic history. This solid, heavy cast iron decorative bottle features the embossed name and emblem of Konishiroku (the historic manufacturer famously known later as Konica).
Unlike common paper novelties, this is a premium, heavy metal industrial piece. These were produced in limited quantities during the mid-20th century (Showa Era) in Japan, typically reserved as commemorative gifts for top-tier camera distributors, company executives, or flagship storefront displays.
