U.S. NAVY BLUE NOSE SUBMARINE INSIGNIA BADGE - BLUE ENAMEL:
$35.00

This sale is for a U.S. NAVY BLUE NOSE SUBMARINE INSIGNIA BADGE - BLUE ENAMEL.This is a badge I designed. I earned my Blue Nose title 5 times on the USS BIRMINGHAM SSN-695 in the early 80's. I know there are a bunch of Submarine Sailors who earned this title the same way I did making Northern Runs in the Atlantic or going to the North Pole under the ice. To be a Blue Nose you would have to go North of 66.34 Degrees Lat. It is approximately 2.75" in length. It has the following engraved on the back: "ORDER OF THE BLUE NOSE" , "ABOVE 66.34 LAT" & NUMBER "# of 50". I also have 3 types: Antique Gold & Silver & Blue Enamel.
I served on this submarine(USS BIRMINGHAM SSN-695)in the early 80's (1982-1985) while it was stationed at Norfolk VA & Pearl Harbor, HI. I rode her through the Panama Canal when she changed Homeports. Contact me if you have any questions. This is an "AS IS" Sale. No returns.U.S. offerS ONLY (unless you preform an international sale through the Global Shipping Program - I ship the item to a U.S. address and the program ship's it to the sale winners country). I DO NOT CONTROL WHAT THE GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM CHARGES. I will ship this badge to Guam and any Submarines stationed there (use your FPO address).I will combine shipping costs, as long as the sales are only a day or so apart.
