Beautiful Vintage Navajo Coal Mine Mesa Raised Outline Weaving/Rug"Raised Outline" is a complex and difficult weaving technique that produces a distinct, physically raised three-dimensional ridge outlining the geometric patterns.The technique creates a physically raised outline or rib that sits higher than the rest of the flatweave.Both sides are photographed so that you can see the difference in texture between the two sides.
This rug features a serrated diamond "Eye Dazzler" pattern with geometric borders. The colors are earthy tones including brick red, warm tan, dark brown, cream, and grey.
