Vintage 1950s Disneyland Tomorrowland Large Negative TWA Moonliner Mickey Mouse.
Item: Vintage c.1955-1960 Disneyland "Just Dropped In From Tomorrowland" Large Format Master Production Film Negative – Featuring Astronaut Mickey & TWA Moonliner
Item Overview:Up for sale/sale is a spectacular, incredibly rare piece of early Disneyland theme park history. This is an original, mid-century large-format master production film negative (measuring 3-3/4 x 5-3/4 inches) featuring the iconic "Just Dropped in from Tomorrowland" graphic layout.
This legendary artwork was famously utilized for official studio promotions and the highly collectible souvenir postcards sold exclusively at the Tomorrowland Art Corner shop during the park’s golden era.
Visual & Historical Highlights:• Iconic Imagery: Features a fantastic mid-century illustration of Astronaut Mickey Mouse in a space suit, set against the historic TWA Moonliner rocket (which stood in Tomorrowland from 1955–1961).• Official Studio Markings: Features the crisp, authentic "Copyright WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS" studio text typeset cleanly at the bottom margin.• Archival Value: This is not a casual snapshot or a tourist photograph. This is a large-format graphic master film piece used by publishers/printers to generate early park assets and souvenirs.
Condition Notes:The film acetate remains beautifully flexible, clear, and stable with exceptional density, contrast, and fine line-work detail. There is a slight, minor tear localized entirely within the black dead-space border margin on the bottom right side. This cosmetic flaw is completely outside of the artwork boundaries and does not affect the graphic, text, or Mickey Mouse imagery whatsoever (and can be easily cropped out during digital scanning).
Dimensions:3-3/4 inches x 5-3/4 inches
Shipping & Handling:Ships securely flat inside a protective archival sleeve, sandwiched safely between heavy-duty cardboard inserts to ensure absolute protection in transit. Fully insured with tracking.
Disclaimer: Sold strictly as a one-time vintage physical collectible artifact for collector placement. No transfer of corporate copyright or digital print reproduction rights is implied or given.
