$65.00

Vintage 1954 Miller Studio Inc. three-dimensional wall plaque featuring a Black Southern woman in a domestic setting. The side bears the © 1954 Miller Studio Inc. mark. This vintage chalkware/plaster-style wall plaque is especially interesting because it still has its original 1989 calendar attached, featuring “Serving Today’s Mississippi” and The Clarion-Ledger. The combination of the mid-century Miller Studio plaque with the later Mississippi newspaper calendar makes this a particularly unusual piece of Southern Americana and advertising history.Approx. 12” H x 10” W.Please note the plaque has significant age-related paint loss, chipping, surface wear and discoloration, as shown throughout the photographs. The calendar is also vintage and shows age/storage wear. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.A great conversation piece for a collector of Miller Studio chalkware, vintage wall plaques, Southern Americana, Black Americana, Mississippi memorabilia, newspaper advertising collectibles, or 1950s decor.Sold as found/as shown.Stock/model photo used for styling and fit inspiration purposes only. Buyer will receive the exact item shown in listing and in photos 2-10.Tags:
