Up for sale is an authentic, original Vietnam War-era U.S. Navy Type G-1 Intermediate Flying Jacket manufactured by Star Sportswear Mfg. Co.Featuring the iconic perforated "USN" lettering on the windflap and the original contract tag intact (Contract No. DSA-1-3271-64-C, dating this piece to 1964), this is a phenomenal piece of American military history and heritage wear.Condition:Overall, this jacket is in great, honest vintage condition. The leather is supple, healthy, and free of cracks. The wool waistband maintains strong integrity, and the interior lining is fully intact with no rips or tears.Measurements taken flat.Chest, 21 inchesSleeve length, 24 inchesBack length, 25 inchesThere is minor fraying on the right cuff, as shown in photo.There is minor where spot on waistband.
