Vintage 1987 William Petersen Mice with Red Wagon Figurine as is:
$18.00

This charming vintage collectible features a hand-painted resin scene of two whimsical mice with a classic red radio flyer style wagon. One mouse is seated inside the wagon next to a large yellow ball, while the other mouse pulls the handle. Created by artist William Petersen in 1987, this piece captures a nostalgic, pastoral aesthetic similar to Beatrix Potter or Brambly Hedge. The level of detail in the fur texture and the expressive facial features of the mice demonstrate high-quality craftsmanship characteristic of 1980s giftware collectibles. The base is finished with a felt-like bottom and retains the original copyright sticker, making it an excellent addition for collectors of anthropomorphic animal figurines or vintage country-style decor. The colors remain vibrant with a glossy finish on the wagon and ball, contrasted by the matte, textured finish of the mice and the grassy base. There is some damage to the wagon, and the wagon was broke off of its face and has been glued back on as the father mouse has also been glued back in place still a beautiful little scene.
