A striking mid-century design featuring an abstract geometric pattern of overlapping organic forms in pastel blue, green, yellow, pink, gray and deep burgundy. Each section is accented with raised linear decoration, giving the surface a wonderful textural quality. Finished with a fine gilt/gold-tone rim.
The softly irregular rounded form and graphic abstract decoration give the piece a distinctly Mid-Century Modern feel and make it an attractive decorative accent or addition to a collection of vintage Japanese ceramics.
