Beautiful vintage Italian decorative porcelain dish / wall plate signed Bumes and marked 63/1 – Italy on the reverse.
This charming piece features a raised relief scene of a classical cherub / putto child surrounded by lush green foliage and holding a purple floral or grape-like cluster. The dimensional molded decoration is finished with rich hand-applied colors, fine painted line details, and a warm gold-tone gilt rim. Its softly scalloped, irregular round shape gives the piece a distinctive Old World Italian appearance.
The front is signed “Bumes” near the lower edge. The reverse is marked “63/1,” “ITALY,” along with a hand-applied monogram or maker’s mark.
