Vintage Descoware enameled cast iron saucepan with matching lid, manufactured in Belgium during the 1950s–1960s. This brand is well-known for its lightweight cast iron construction and even heat distribution,and was notably used by Julia Child.——Exterior: The yellow enamel is intact. The bottom shows normal shelf wear, scuffs, and charring from standard stove use.
——Interior: The cream porcelain interior shows circular surface scratches, utensil marks, and discoloration from use. There are no major deep chips or cracks down to the bare iron
——Handle: The integrated cast iron handle socket is sturdy. Note that the original removable wooden handle insert is missing.
