For sale is a fantastic estate-found collection of vintage mid-century optics equipment from the legendary Edmund Scientific Co. (Barrington, N.J.). This is a partial experimental lens and demonstration prism lot packed with rare components, including New Old Stock (NOS) factory-sealed pieces and a unique vintage optician's sample pouch. Perfect for vintage science collectors, educators, or photography hobbyists looking for unique in-camera prism effects!
What’s Included in This Lot:1. Original Edmund Scientific Hinged Wooden Box: • Classic beachwood/birchwood storage box with original brass hinges intact. Displays beautiful, authentic light scuffing and finish wear ("patina").

Five (5) Factory-Sealed "New Old Stock" Lens Packets: • Lenses are completely pristine, untouched, and sealed in their original printed glassine envelopes: • Two-Lenses: Plano Convex (6mm Dia / 45mm FL) • One-Lens: Plano Convex (19mm Dia / 67mm FL) • One-Lens: Plano Convex (30mm Dia / 153mm FL - Substitute) • Two-Lenses: Double Convex (14mm Dia / 48mm FL) • Plus one additional sealed envelope from the master kit.

5. Vintage Purple Felt Optician's Sample Pouch Add-on: • A vintage snap-closure eyeglass lens tester display pouch. Contains 4 unique ophthalmic eyeglass sample blanks, including a large master magnifier, a standard single convex lens, a traditional "round segment" bifocal blank, and a wide "flat-top D-segment" multifocal reading lens blank.
Condition Notes:The items are being sold as a combined lot in as-found, vintage condition. Some envelopes are empty (as detailed/reunited above).
