## Item Overview
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage mid-century Italian art plaque featuring a stunning portrait detail of Saint Mary Magdalene from the 1490 Renaissance masterpiece by Piero di Cosimo.
This genuine vintage piece was manufactured in Florence, Italy, by the world-renowned photographic and art publishing firm **Fratelli Alinari**. The print is skillfully laid down onto a sturdy, flat wood panel and finished with a classic, heavily textured Florentine gilt (gold) border integrated directly into the design. It retains its original metal triangle hanging bracket on the reverse and is fully ready to hang.

## 📄 Provenance & Labeling (See Reverse Photos)
The back of the panel features its authentic, original paper manufacturer label which reads:
**"F.lli Alinari Soc. Az. I.D.E.A. - Via Nazionale, 6 - Firenze (Italia)"**
The "I.D.E.A." (*Istituto di Edizioni Artistiche*) designation securely dates the physical manufacturing of this plaque to the mid-20th century (circa 1930s–1950s), making it a highly collectible piece of mid-century Florentine tourist and export history.

## 🔍 Detailed Condition Report & Natural Patina
This plaque is in **Good Vintage Condition** and showcases a beautiful, honest, and natural patina that confirms its mid-century age. To ensure a 100% transparent buying experience, please review the close-up photos closely to note the following specific characteristics:
* **Surface Lacquer & Front Face:** The protective clear lacquer coating over the print has beautifully aged. As shown in the detailed close-ups (particularly around the dress/veil areas), there is fine surface hairline crazing/cracking in the varnish layer, mild superficial scuffs, and small vintage spotting spots typical of Alinari lacquered boards from this era. This is purely on the surface and does not compromise the structure of the piece.
* **Florentine Gilt Border:** The gold border is entirely intact but displays charming, age-appropriate darkening, minor wear, and a soft antique frame patina.
* **Wood Corners & Edges:** The solid wood panel shows mild edge wear, small scuffs, and minor blunting/chipping at the corners from decades of gentle display and handling. The panel remains solid, stable, and flat.
