An unused vintage postcard showing H.C. Andersens Hus (Hans Christian Andersen's House) in Odense, Denmark — the little house museum associated with the Danish fairy-tale author.The view shows the small cream-colored, red-tiled house on a cobblestone corner, with two children standing at the street corner.
The card was published by Odense Bys Museer (Odense City Museums) and is marked "Eneret — nr. 11."The back is a divided-back design with printed address lines and the mark "Odense. H. C. Andersens Hus."
The card is unused — it has no writing, stamp, or postmark.Condition: there is a noticeable surface tear at the upper-right corner, with a corresponding dark stain on the back; general age toning and scattered foxing spots; light corner and edge wear. Please see photos. Related Items:
