Vintage Hadson flat petrol lighter made in Japan around the late 1950s to mid-1960s. It features multi-color enamel cartoon art on both sides with classic outdoor/hunting comic themes:Front: "Cariboo Joe Guide" scene — "You grab this b'ar Mr. Peters while I go get another!" "Cariboo Joe" was a popular mid-century wilderness cartoon archetype named after British Columbia’s famous rugged Cariboo hunting district. The front panel illustrates a classic 1950s/60s outdoorsman joke featuring the "Cariboo Joe Guide" cabin, running away from a bear while leaving his client to hold the bag ("You grab this b'ar Mr. Peters while I go get another!"). The reverse side features a matching hunting humor cartoon ("Great hunting - had several 'shots' already").

Unfired: White, clean wick and clean snuffer cap interior.
Cosmetics: Chrome body and mechanism plating are bright. Graphic panels are complete with vibrant color and no fading. Mechanics: Spark wheel turns freely and the top lever spring functions cleanly.
