Vintage Kensington Aluminum Lurell Guild Serving Tray. MCM:
$35.00
This is a classic mid-century modern serving tray from Kensington Aluminum, part of the Lurell Guild collection. Crafted from high-quality spun aluminum, this piece features a distinctive hand-hammered look on the base and a sleek, satin-finish top. The center is etched with a stylized wheat or floral motif characteristic of the brand's elegant, Art Deco-influenced aesthetic. Kensington Aluminum was a luxury brand of the Aluminum Cooking Utensil Company during the 1930s to 1950s, marketed for its 'everlasting' beauty and tarnish-resistant properties. This round platter is ideal for serving hors d'oeuvres or as a decorative base for a centerpiece. Its minimalist design and durable material make it a versatile addition to both contemporary and vintage-style home decor. The piece shows standard signs of age including light surface scratches, but maintains its integrity and beautiful metallic luster.
