This is a remarkable find for collectors of vintage Americana and utility gear: a Nicholl F-1 Fluorescent Lantern, brand new in its original retail packaging. Manufactured in the USA, this lantern features a distinct 'space-age' design characteristic of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The unit is marketed as a 4-way light, offering steady and flashing modes, a flashing distress signal, and an anti-bug lens. Its high-impact construction and multi-function handle make it a rugged piece of equipment for camping, roadside emergencies, or home use. Finding these units with their original box in such preserved condition is rare, making it highly desirable for vintage electronics enthusiasts or those looking for retro-cool functional decor. It requires a single 6-volt battery for operation. The box displays classic period typography and graphic design, adding to its shelf appeal for collectors. Related Items:
