Vintage Otagiri Ceramic Cat Teapot with Pink Bow Tie & Scarf – Made in Japan
Add a beautiful touch of vintage charm to your kitchen collection with this authentic 1980s Otagiri ceramic cat teapot. Masterfully crafted in Japan, this highly collectible anthropomorphic piece features a unique low-profile, crouching grey tabby kitten adorned with a sculpted pink bow tie and a matching draped pink blanket or scarf across its back.
True to classic Otagiri craftsmanship, it features meticulous hand-painted details, texturing to mimic soft fur, and expressive blue eyes. The practical design seamlessly integrates the cat's open mouth as the functional pouring spout, while the curved tail forms a comfortable, sturdy handle. Complete with its original matching lid and the authentic gold-and-red foil label on the base, this is an excellent find for serious teapot collectors and cat lovers alike.
