Vintage Paulson FOX $2 Maroon Hat Cane Casino Chip Gold Hot Stamp Silver Fox?:
$39.99
Vintage Paulson Top Hat & Cane $2 casino chip in a maroon / dark reddish-brown color with strong gold hot stamping.
One side is marked $2 beneath a decorative starburst design. The opposite side has the same starburst with a large FOX hot stamp beneath it.
Research shows that Silver Fox Casino in Sacramento, California used Paulson Hat & Cane chips with gold hot stamps, including documented chips carrying a FOX logo. This exact maroon $2 variation has not been independently confirmed in the available catalog records, so the Silver Fox attribution is presented as a likely possibility rather than a guaranteed identification.
The gold hot stamping is in exceptionally nice condition overall (Doesn't photograph well due to sheen). The $2 side is especially crisp and strongly stamped. On the FOX side, the slightly lighter area toward the upper left appears to be a lighter strike rather than foil loss.
Classic Paulson Hat & Cane mold around the outer edge.
Please review all photos closely for the exact color, mold, denomination, hot stamp, and condition.
ConditionVery good vintage condition with light handling wear.
Gold hot stamping remains strong and well preserved, particularly on the $2 side. The FOX side shows a slightly lighter area in the upper-left portion of the stamp, but the design remains very clear.
No cracks or major edge damage observed.
