Vintage Pre-1991 Victorinox Explorer Swiss Army Knife Magnifying Glass No Hook
The Vintage Pre-1991 Victorinox Explorer Swiss Army Knife with a magnifying glass is a collectible folding knife that includes various tools such as a punch, corkscrew, scissors, and bottle opener. The knife features a stainless steel blade with a plain edge and a spear point design, suitable for tactical purposes. It has an amofferextrous manual opening mechanism and a slipjoint lock type. The handle is made of plastic and the knife has a red color. This original Victorinox Explorer model is a classic piece from Switzerland that includes two blades, a magnifying glass and 14 other implements. It is without a the hook tool found on modern Explorers which dates it to 1986-1990.
This knife is in beautiful condition and appears to have never been sharpened (while sharp enough for normal tasks it could use a sharpening) the only minor defects being light, normal scratches to the handle scales and tweezers that sit below the scales and are difficult to grab with your fingernails and remove. Luckily replacement tweezers are readily available and inexpensive, should any perspective buyer feel the need to replace them.
