Very good overall condition. All eight souvenir photo booklets are complete with secure plastic comb bindings. Covers show light to moderate shelf wear, edge wear, and age toning consistent with age. A few have minor soiling or small ink inscriptions on the mailing panels, but the interiors remain clean and present well.
This lot includes souvenir booklets featuring Oak Creek Canyon Arizona (2 copies), Scenic Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, White Mountain Views New Hampshire, Wyoming Last of the Old West, Scenic Utah, and The Grand Canyon National Park Arizona. Each contains ten full color views reproduced from Kodachrome photographs or natural color prints in the classic mid century souvenir format, with postcard style backs designed for mailing.
These colorful travel booklets capture the golden age of American roadside tourism, when national parks and scenic destinations were promoted through inexpensive photo albums sold at gift shops, lodges, and roadside attractions. Complete lots covering multiple destinations are less commonly encountered than individual examples and make an attractive snapshot of mid century travel ephemera.
