A sculptural pine tree, architectural details, and delicate gold ornamentation complete the scene. The tray is beautifully framed by an intricate black-and-gold geometric border, creating a dramatic presentation that works equally well displayed on a wall, styled on a console, or incorporated into a curated collection of Asian-inspired decorative arts. The History Behind the DesignAccording to the original manufacturer’s description on the reverse, the artwork was reproduced from a Chinese wall plaque associated with the Tang Dynasty (618–906 AD), widely regarded as a golden age of Chinese art and culture. The original design featured hand-carved soapstone figures inlaid into a thick lacquer ground, symbolizing three traditional attainments: honor, happiness, and longevity. This tray is a vintage decorative reproduction celebrating that historic artistic tradition.Details* Manufacturer: Sunshine Biscuits, Inc.
