Vintage Tagus R50 Copper Tea Kettle Portugal Wood Handle Rustic Patina:
$49.99
Description
Vintage TAGUS R.50 copper kettle / teapot, made in Portugal. Features a rounded copper body, removable lid, curved spout, metal bail handle with turned wooden grip, and wooden lid knob.
The kettle has developed a wonderful aged copper patina with areas of oxidation, discoloration and surface wear that give it an authentic vintage appearance.
Bottom is clearly stamped:
TAGUS
MADE IN PORTUGAL
R.50
Approximately 8–9 inches across including the spout, based on the ruler shown. Please refer to photos for dimensions.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with substantial natural patina, tarnish, oxidation, scratches, discoloration and general age-related wear. Interior also shows discoloration/use. The very tip of the spout appears irregular/worn, so buyers should review the close-up photos carefully. I would sell this primarily as a vintage collectible/decorative piece and make no claim regarding suitability for food or beverage use.
