Up for sale is a beautiful mated pair of Vintage Thames Japan Hand Painted Ceramic Mandarin Ducks. Historically recognized in Asian cultures as a meaningful symbol of love, fidelity, and a happy marriage, this mid-century set includes a highly detailed male drake and a matching female duck. Each piece features a gorgeous high-gloss glazed finish adorned with vibrant, hand-painted shades of rust, cream, yellow, and deep teal-green accents. The undersides of the hollow figurines are unglazed, and one still retains its original silver-toned metallic "Made in Japan / THAMES Hand Painted" foil import sticker.
