Rare Complete 1954 Mount Fuji Summit Ascension Collection – 4-Piece Estate LotUp for sale is an incredible, authentic piece of mountaineering history. This is a complete, single-owner travel time capsule from a climb up Mount Fuji, Japan, dated Summer 1954. Unlike scattered individual pieces, this lot includes the hiking staff, both summit flags, and the original informational pamphlet distributed to climbers that year.What’s Included in the Lot:
Branded Wooden Hiking Staff (Kongozue): Multi-sided traditional walking stick featuring authentic hot-iron pyrography branding stamps (Hanko) burned into the wood at various trail stations. Includes elevation marks (e.g., "2600 m.") and summit stamps ("Top 3776 m").
Yellow Summit Pennant Flag: Reads "TOP MOUNT FUJI ALT 12395 FT" alongside an illustration of the peak. Complete with original pink ribbon ties.

This lot is in Good Vintage Condition with beautiful, authentic character. The wood staff is sturdy with dark, highly legible burn brands. The paper pamphlet is fully intact and readable with some typical edge wear, horizontal folds, and light silverfish/aging marks consistent with 70+ year old paper.
