Up for offers is an original WWII US Army nurse officer's seersucker hospital dress. In September 1942, a new hospital uniform made of seersucker fabric began to be used in U.S. Army hospitals overseas in France, Belgium, England, Morocco. The cotton material was a lightweight brown and white striped fabric. The uniform took the form of a wraparound dress with a belt at the waist. This uniform retains both tags, maker and size. The dress is a size 8. The uniform is in good overall condition retaining the ties, belt and loops. There are two very small burn holes, see pictures. The dress retains its original collar insignia.
