Photographed by S. H. Ellis at 13 Lichfield Street, Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Ellis was an established Hanley photographer and artist, with his studio at this address by the 1890s.
The family remains unidentified, making this a lovely piece of Victorian social history. Original card with beautiful period clothing, studio backdrop, and age-appropriate toning and wear.
