*****PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE PAYING**** Phenomenal carved wood Madonna figure with original surface and lovely aged patina. She stands on top of a carved cloud like base with her foot on a serpent. I believe this to be gesso over wood polychrome finish. She wears her original tarnished brass rays at each of her wrists and a crown and halo at the back of her head. I have owned this figure for almost 30 years and she was wearing the rosary when I purchased her at an antique show. She is 18” tall by 7” wide by 6” deep. A beautiful work of art with only a slight amount of damage or loss to her left hand with some broken fingertips. She is a beauty and ready to be part of your collection.
