from the Pirates of the Caribbean souvenir shop,drawstring felt pouch with the PIRATES logomarked Walt Disney Productionswith MADE IN HONG KONG sticker inside
includes all seven replica solid metal pirate coins,including one custom coin with the ride logo on one side and a hole in it to be worn as a necklace if desired
before Disney was DISNEY, many of the park shops sold standard imported souvenir items and novelties with the park logo added where applicable; it's likely that most of the metal coin set was a standard educational toy item, and the Disney-specific coin was added in with the pouch for sale at the park.Coins are excellent with light wear, thin velvet/felt fabric pouch is overall excellent with some wear from storage and one worn spot on the back, shown in pic with white paper inserted behind for visibility
This pouch came from a collection of Disney souvenirs including a great assortment of Randotti skulls and early park T-shirts (which will be listed soon) as well as ticket stubs and travel items showing the period of visits when the items were purchased, if not the exact date for each piece.This set is a duplicate of one in our own collection which contains identical coins and we have only ever seen one other one which was missing the Disney coin, but the other coins matched ours and this one.Along with a rare park souvenir, the owner of this set automatically becomes a leading authority on identifying the original Pirate coins!SEE PICS!will be carefully wrapped and packed inside of a solid box to protect condition during shipping
