This is quite an awesome collection it's the very rare and now out of date no longer being produced department 56 25th anniversary Simpsons Christmas three house set these came out obviously for the Simpsons 25th anniversary but partnering with department 56 gave it a sense of class and these have since become highly sought after holiday heirlooms for the generation that grew up with the Simpsons but still loves Christmas obviously I always liked these and got these when they first came out I ordered them directly from the department 56 website or company whatever it was I think it's a subdivision of another company but anyway I remember being excited and I was originally just going to order one of them but if you ordered all three you had the complete set these are in surprisingly good condition considering their age as you can see from the pictures all four sides are clearly pictured please see close-up pictures basically they're all in very amazing shape two of them are in near perfect shape one of them had an area with a crack in it on the roof but it has since been glued with invisible glue and cannot be seen really The crack line can still be seen a little bit but it's not in danger of getting worse like it was before but other than that and a little chip in the same ceramic base of the Simpsons house the other two are essentially flawless with no chips no damage no missing paint and surprisingly on all three of them all of the Christmas lights are intact the entire string is intact on all three including if you see in the one picture going around the back of the Simpsons garage and almost all the ones that are sold nowadays those lights have since fallen off not sure why these state on so well you can also see in the close-ups the vibrant paint is still as beautiful as the day it was made because I keep these in their original box for the rest of the year so this will also include the three original boxes that they came in I'm including them not just to complete the set but also because the boxes themselves are quite neat The one side has the beautiful picture of what you're getting with the neat Simpsons logo and the 25th anniversary badge but then either bookend has one a charming scene of The Simpsons family with the youngest in a Santa hat with the classy department 56 logo above it well on the other side a happy Homer joyfully prepares the down yet another candy cane. I know what you're saying in all of there's going to be somebody else that probably has this complete collection You're probably right but you know what they probably don't have an award-winning artists handmade creation of a 3D Homer Simpson that lights up and even has a securely fastened high quality off on switch in the back as well as a color matching USB cord you can tell the high quality effort and work that went into this piece The artist had told me it took her over 25 hours to complete this particular piece and you can see with the 3D effort and image that went into it Homer's lapel actually sticks out as does his shoulder but they stick out a different length from the other side of his shirt going into his neck a lot of extra effort went into that the actual individual bite marks on the donut have individual different layers of depth and of course Homer's famous 5:00 shadow is sticking out as usual along with the classic Simpsons round big googly eyes even the little tufts of hair and eyebrows are even represented The level of detail is really quite amazing it looks great dark and shut off just in a room on a shelf and then when you light it up that really wells the crowd this is being included to make this a collection without equal. Please only to a good caring home that will take good care of Homer that I love so much and my Christmas collection that I'll miss I have a 14-year-old pitbull that needs some medical attention unfortunately and that's what's bringing me to sell this collection that I love
