This very-early Telechron clock was in production from 1918 to about 1928, and is one of the earliest Telechron electric models. This Telechron Clock Model # 201 Wood Case Wall Telechron is ~16" X 16" X 4-5/8" and it Runs and Keeps Time spectacularly well, as it has been with us for about 30 years and has been the single most reliable electric clock in our fold. This clock has the sweep second hand, an important feature to indicate that the clock is running at a glance; most versions of this clock do not. The power-failure indicator dot functions properly, and the clock continues to run quietly. This clock probably dates to 1926-1928, as the face has both "Warren Telechron Co. Ashland Mass." and also in script "Telechron." The case has a few speckles of "Government Green" paint here and there, and a larger drip of the same inside the case, as it was apparently left on the wall during a wall-paintjob in a school or other government building. The case was apparently lacquered prior to the government-green speckles. The paint speckles are not distracting at all, as the face of the clock is clean and shiny.
