Very Rare Plate of Abraham Lincoln and his Son, Tad, by Mary Lou Higgins. Signed on the inside.
On the inside of the plate is written
"Lincoln And Tad Study A Brady Album Feb. 9, 1864".
The artwork is excellent.
The Plate is 10" in diameter, and 1-4/8" deep.
Weighs 1lb 10oz.
As shown in the last 4 pictures, the plate broke on the edge and was glued back together. From that break some of the glaze is cracked further to the left on the edge, but is the glaze only.
