Classic 17\" Kukri Knife w/ Sheath
The kukri or khukuri, originally a utility and ceremonial blade, has become a national symbol of Nepal and the fierce Gurkha warriors. This 17 Inch Stainless Steel Kukri displays the traditional curved shape of this formidable weapon. The 11 inch leaf shaped blade is perfect for chopping or slashing and features the classic notch at the base. The full tang handle of the kukri has hand shaped scales made from hardwood with stainless steel pommel and rivets. The included black leather sheath has been custom fitted to the kukri blade.As traditionally practiced, final sharpening of the blade is left to the soldier (buyer). This was intended to thoroughlyfamiliarize the soldierwith his weapon before training began.The 17 Inch Stainless Steel Kukri is an excellent choice for any historical weapons collectoror enthusiast.
