$40.00
Really cool piece of postal history. Letter shows browning, creasing, small tears, consistent with age. Please see pictures for reference to condition.
Up for sale is a genuine piece of 102-year-old American postal history. This is an official administrative instruction sheet issued by the Chicago, Illinois Post Office Central Supply Section, dated June 4, 1924.
This circular was distributed to regional Third and Fourth-Class postmasters to regulate how and when they ordered official stationery, forms, and stamps. It features the printed signature of Arthur C. Lueder, the prominent historical Postmaster of Chicago (1921–1933) and 1923 mayoral candidate.
This is a fantastic addition for collectors of postal history, Chicago memorabilia, or early 20th-century ephemera.
