Crafted by Della Cruz, a talented artisan from the Tohono O'odham / Papago People, this basket is a perfect representation of the rich cultural heritage of the United States. The basket is entirely handmade and shows incredible attention to detail, making it a unique and valuable addition to any collection.
The provenance of this basket is that it was a gift from my mother from when she toured the Southwest about 10 years ago, it comes with new tags and has never been used. The basket is a great example of the traditional Tohono O'odham basketry, which has been practiced for generations. It is a wonderful piece of art.
