This is a gorgeous hard to find Vintage Madonna and Child Wall Hanging Plaque. It was made in Italy. I believe the artisans used a mold and hand painted before firing the resin. The design is a timeless piece. There is a pleasant aesthetic about this composition, the connection between the mother and her child, the folding clothing, the color combinations. The plaque is in good condition showing some signs of wear, but this adds something special overall( or at least this is how I feel about it). The piece does not have any cracks or repairs. There is added extra resin around child neck and his little finger is imperfect( manufacturing process). There is also a luster all over, similar with alabaster carvings.
