$60.00
Vintage photographic copy negative showing United Electric Railways streetcar No. 1330 operating as the Pawtucket Express in Rhode Island, circa 1920s–1930s.
Excellent three-quarter view of UER No. 1330 with the PAWTUCKET EXPRESS destination sign clearly visible above the front windows. The photograph provides strong detail of the streetcar body, front platform, windows, trucks, trolley equipment, overhead wire, and surrounding street railway infrastructure.
The large brick street railway building in the background adds excellent architectural and operating context to the scene.
United Electric Railways assumed operation of much of the former Rhode Island Company system during the early 1920s. Electric streetcar service between Providence and Pawtucket continued into 1940, placing this image within the final decades of regular trolley operation on the route.
This appears to be a vintage copy negative made from an earlier photographic print, rather than the photographer's original camera negative. The border of the source photograph is visible within the negative image.
The original photograph likely dates from approximately the 1920s–1930s.
Approximate dimensions: 4.5" x 3.5".
Negative shows normal age-related wear including possible light scratches, dust, handling marks, and other surface imperfections. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
Overall good condition. Signs of corner, edge, and surface wear consistent with age and handling. Slight smell due to age. Item as pictured.
A particularly attractive image for collectors of United Electric Railways, Pawtucket streetcars, Providence transit history, Rhode Island trolleys, New England traction, and vintage street railway photography.
