c1930 UER United Electric Railways #1359 Broad St Trolley RI Photo Negative:
$44.00
Vintage photographic copy negative showing United Electric Railways streetcar No. 1359 in Rhode Island, circa 1920s–1930s.
Nice detailed three-quarter view of UER car 1359, an older wooden electric streetcar. The side destination sign appears to read “BROAD ST.” The image provides good detail of the front platform, windows, roofline, trolley pole, trucks, and surrounding street trackage. A substantial brick building is visible in the background.
United Electric Railways operated much of Rhode Island’s street railway system during the early to mid-20th century, succeeding the earlier Rhode Island Company operations. Broad Street was one of the important trolley corridors in the Providence area.
This appears to be a vintage copy negative made from an earlier photographic print, rather than the photographer’s original camera negative. The original image likely dates from approximately the 1920s–1930s.
Negative shows normal age-related wear, including possible light scratches, dust, handling marks, and other surface imperfections. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
Overall good condition. Signs of corner, edge, and surface wear consistent with age and handling. Slight smell due to age. Item as pictured.
A desirable image for collectors of United Electric Railways, Rhode Island trolleys, Providence transit history, New England streetcars, and vintage railroad photography.
