Beautiful vintage Elgin American compact. This is from the 1950's and has a stylized botanical cornucopia etched in the lid. The mirror shows some wear but is mostly clear. It would make a lovely shiny dresser or vanity piece of decor. Since the piece is so shiny the color is difficult to capture in pictures. It's closest to the deep, rich gold you see in some of the photos.
There is a scratch on the bottom and some wear to the mirror. Please see pictures for condition detail.
